The Soyvestors STEAM Project aims to promote STEAM education in secondary schools through investigations of soybean cultivation. Biology field trip to Mai Po

To consolidate student’s subject knowledge and equip them with more in-field exposure, S.5 and S.4 Biology students had joint the field trip at Mai Po Nature Reserve on 3rd April 2023, organized by the World Wide Fund (Hong Kong). 35 Students studying Biology had visited the vast habitats in Mai Po, including Gei Wai, mangroves, mudflats etc. In the guided tour, students were taught to use binoculars to observe and identify different bird species in birdwatching houses. International Biology Olympiad – Hong Kong Contest was co-organized by the Education Bureau of the Government of HKSAR and the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education in Nov 2022. CFSS Teachers and Students Visiting InnoTech Expo 2022

The InnoTech Expo 2022 was held from 12th December to 22nd December 2022. The exhibition demonstrated the great scientific inventions of China in 13th Five-Year Plan, including those in the aerospace, on the land and in the deep ocean. Also, it showcased the recent successful scientific inventions in Hong Kong, including the areas of medical and health science, culture and smart city. Our school has been promoting Popular Science to all CFSS students through STREAM education. In School Year 2022/23, we joined a whole-year STREAM Education programme, titled “Soyvestor STEAM Project”. With the growing importance of aerospace science and space technology, our school spares no pains to arrange a wide spectrum of aerospace-related learning activities for students.
