CFSS students participated in the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2013 and two teams won the championship of the junior division investigation project type and invention project type (http://www.cfss.edu.hk/event20130601.html). They were then invited to participate in exhibitions and exchange programmes.
The teams were invited to introduce their projects in two exhibitions held in the Science Museum and in the Hong Kong Institute of Education. They were invited to the exchange tour to Japan as well. Before the tour started, they had a close look at the science facilities in Shenzhen (Beijing Genomics Institute) and Macau (Macau Science Museum) in order to broaden their horizon.
During the exchange tour, they have been to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, visiting places such as the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation and the Osaka University. They were also given the chance to present their projects to Japanese high school students and professors of the Osaka University.
