“School of Distinction Award” was set up by Intel Corporation to reward renowned elementary and secondary schools in the United States on their outstanding performance in Science and Mathematics Education. Starting from the 25th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC) in 2010, the organizing committee has been co-operating with Intel (China) Co., Ltd. to launch an annual contest by selecting the top 10 outstanding primary and secondary schools in Science Education from China (including Hong Kong and Macau), with award presentation in the CASTIC each year.
Our school is devoted to promoting Popular Science to nurture science elites and cater for individual needs. Accompanied by four Science teachers, Principal Au and Assistant Principal Dr. Lau represented our school to receive “School of Distinct Award” and “Outstanding Organization Award” in the 28th CASTIC. The great honour confirms our significant breakthrough in Science and Technology Education in the past decade. As the first step of honour, we would persist to instill Science and Innovation in school. Through regular exchanges of thoughts, we pursue further improvement in Science Education.
