Our School Won the ‘Most Species’ and ‘Most Observers’ Awards in the Hong Kong Inter-School City Nature Challenge

The Hong Kong Inter-School City Nature Challenge (HKISCNC) is a friendly 4-day competition in which secondary schools find and log the most species in and around their campus, gathering more data on Hong Kong’s urban biodiversity. It aims to replicate the massive success of Hong Kong in the City Nature Challenge 2018 and will follow the same format: schools will compete for most observations, most species and most observers. Due to the high level of students’ engagement, our school won the ‘Most Species’ and ‘Most Observers’ awards with 332 observers and 942 observed species. We received a free group visit (25 people) to Island House and Mai Po Nature Reserve as the prize.
