Green Gurus of our school launched a Popular STREAM activity titled “Identifying Succulents and Cacti” Workshop after school on 13 December 2018. Students took reference from the Popular Science books stationed in Reading Paradise of our Main Roof to study plant taxonomy. Then, students identified and labelled these succulents and cacti in Environmental Trail and Main Roof. On top of this, green gurus also helped preservation of Traditional Chinese Medicine specimens in Science & Sustainable Development Resource Centre by adding drying agents into the reagent bottles. This helped establish online knowledge platform for their juniors to undergo self-directed learning on Traditional Chinese Medicine, promoting sustainable development on campus and to the community.
