Our school collaborated with Education University of Hong Kong to launch two demonstration lessons on “Student-Centred Learning” on 13 June 2022 (Monday). The theme for the S.3 Science lesson was “Seed Dispersal Mechanisms” while the theme for the S.5 Biology lesson was “Evolution: Darwinism & Lamarckism”.
Teachers from different schools conducted peer lesson preparation to plan for their learning activities of the lessons, aiming at fostering students’ self-directed learning and extended learning through group learning and collaboration. Teachers gave feedback to one another after the lessons as professional development sessions.
