With an attempt to provide STREAM education to each and every student in CFSS, our school has been adopting whole-school approach in STREAM Education.

Opportunity knocks and our school joined a highly unique STEM education project in this school year, known as “SoyVestor STEAM Project”. The project aims to introduce to students about soybeans from multiple perspectives, ranging from its history, nutrition value, technological innovations, trading to DNA sequencing and barcoding.

As a STREAM kickstarting event, our school is more than honoured to have invited Prof. Lam Hon Ming, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Life Sciences of CUHK, Director of the Molecular Biotechnology Program and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong to deliver a talk about “Soybeans and Nutrition” to our S.2 students. With Prof. Lam’s amiable character alongside a highly interactive talk, students proactively answered questions raised by Prof. Lam.
