The 10th Anniversary Celebration of UNESCO Hong Kong Association cum UN International Human Solidarity Day

School Principal Ho Tik Shun and Sustainable Development Team Coordinator Tong Man Chung Jacky represented our school to attend the banquet of celebrating the 10th anniversary of UNESCO Hong Kong Association cum UN International Human Solidarity Day on 20 December 2021. Chinese Herbal Health Tea Workshop

In order to promote plant biodiversity and show students’ care to the elderly, the School’s Sustainable Development Team and Green Guru Team have organized an Elderly Service Program namely “Chinese Herbal Health Tea Workshop “with the Chinese YMCA Chai Wan Neighborhood Elderly Centre on 18 Jan 2020. Hong Kong Science Museum – Biodiversity Workshop

Our school was glad to collaborate with Grateful Green Group for organizing Biodiversity Workshops, 2 sessions in total, on the theme “Bird Conservation Express – Talking on Hong Kong’s Birds” in Biodiversity Gallery of the Hong Kong Science Museum in the afternoon of 13 Oct 2018. DSS STEM Fair 2018

Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council organized DSS STEM Fair 2018 in St. Paul’s Convent School was held from 22 to 24 September 2018. Our school has been invited to launch our STEM exhibit on science research in the 3-day Fair. CFSS Participated in Exhibit of Citizen Science Faire x MakerBay 2017 to Promote Citizen Science

Our school collaborated with MakerBay to participate in 4-day exhibit of Citizen Science Faire x MakerBay from 17 to 20 August, 2017. Our students unveiled the underlying reasons of mosquito breeding to the public by mosquito sample observation and making DIY mosquito trap. They encouraged the visitors to download “Mosquito Alert” app to record locations of mosquitoes and the breeding sites, promoting concepts of Citizen Science and Sustainable Development to the territory.

“Driving Innovation Achieving Dream” Technology Show was one of the highlighted events to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR. It was launched in Victoria Park from 28th June to 2nd July 2017. Our School Gets the Experimental School Award from the National Working Committee for UNESCO Project on Education for Sustainable Development in China

Our Assistant Principal, Mr. Lee Chi Man, represented the school to attend the 11th Conference on Education for Sustainable Development in Beijing in on 18 September, 2012. Our school got the Experimental School Award from the National Working Committee for UNESCO Project on Education for Sustainable Development in China.  Mr. Lee also visited a prominent secondary school in Beijing to see their progress in sustainable development.

Sustainable Development School Award Programme Prize Presentation Ceremony

We have joined the 2010 – 2012 Sustainable Development School Award Program. It was rewarding that more than 150 pioneer students, including Low-Carbon Gurus, Environmental Perfects, Student Council committee members and Leaders of Tomorrow, joined hands continually to promote SD within the school and in the community.
