CFSS Teachers and Students Visiting InnoTech Expo 2022

The InnoTech Expo 2022 was held from 12th December to 22nd December 2022. The exhibition demonstrated the great scientific inventions of China in 13th Five-Year Plan, including those in the aerospace, on the land and in the deep ocean. Also, it showcased the recent successful scientific inventions in Hong Kong, including the areas of medical and health science, culture and smart city. Whole-school Approach in STREAM Education – SoyVestor STEAM Project

Our school has been promoting Popular Science to all CFSS students through STREAM education. In School Year 2022/23, we joined a whole-year STREAM Education programme, titled “Soyvestor STEAM Project”. CFSS Students Taking Part in the Online Aerospace Course Conducted by The Chinese Society of Astronautics

With the growing importance of aerospace science and space technology, our school spares no pains to arrange a wide spectrum of aerospace-related learning activities for students. On November 12, some of our senior form students took part in the online aerospace course conducted by The Chinese Society of Astronautics. The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Amgen Foundation collaborate to introduce “Amgen Biotechnology Experience (ABE) Programme” into Hong Kong schools, so that teachers can bring biotechnology experiments to real practice in the lessons. 30 CFSS teachers and students participated in the Online Lecture on “Aerospace Science and Space Seeds in CFSS” organized by Green Guru on 21 February 2022 (Mon). Our S.2 students have searched the information about the problem associated from using single-use plastic in Hong Kong. They also researched the suggested solutions for “no plastic life”.
