Art and Science of Trees, Birds and Butterflies Exhibition at JCCAC

Our School held an exhibition at Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) from 12th to 14th April 2013. There were four themes in the exhibition. The most attractive one was Birds. Our students spent a lot of time to create art work to show different characters of birds.  Besides, we promoted green living and introduced cross-curricular Activity Day at Tsung Tsai Yuen. We hope that visitors could be more aware of the natural ecology and the importune of environmental protect through our exhibits.

Our School Provides Students with More Exposure to the United Nations

Nature is a natural treasure of learning which allows students to broaden horizons and inspire thinking. CFSS Obtaining the Most Cans Raised Award of the Paint Can Feed Competition organized by Food Angel

Paint Can Feed is a charity event organized by Food Angel. It aims to raise funds and awareness for the hunger and poverty issues in Hong Kong. Students showcased their creativity by using the most eco-friendly ways to decorate intact food cans for the competition. Our School got the Most Cans Raised Award and students’ artworks were exhibited at Hysan Place from 29 September to 13 October 2015.

CFSS Student Volunteers in School Waste Reduction Campaign

Five of our Secondary Four and Five participated in the School Waste Reduction Campaign Workshop organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) on 11 October, 2014. During the workshop, they visited the Exhibition Centre of HKPC and witnessed the latest green technologies (including the food waste composer). Besides, they acquired the latest methods and technology in reducing waste and waste control, which will help a lot in our forthcoming school-based Waste Reduction Campaign.

RYSA Switzerland Tour in Visiting Roche’s Headquarters

Three of our S.1 students won the champion of the Roche Young Scientist Award (http://www.cfss.edu.hk/event20130504.html) and were granted the chance to visit Roche’s headquarters in Switzerland. During the visit to Roche’s different departments, they understood better how the departments co-operated with each other and how the logistics work.
