Beijing-HK Youth Science and Innovation Elite Exchange Programme 2018 was successfully launched in The Chinese Foundation Secondary School from 14 to 18 July 2018. 70 elite students from Beijing and Hong Kong went through the 5 days of learning and visits. 11 CFSS students participated in this Programme, which was organized by Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges and Hong Kong Beijing Association Limited. HKSciFest 2017 – Unveiling the Magic Behind Chinese Herbs

Housing more than 1000 plant species, our School provides a good learning platform of the uses of medicinal plants and conservation on plant biodiversity for the public through mobile learning. In this workshop, participants can explore the details of herbs in a boundless setting in Environmental Trail and Medicinal Plant Garden on our rooftop. They can acquire basic concepts of plant properties and their uses together with simple species identification skills, to promote the use of plants for the health of the society.

Science and Sustainable Development – Facilities on Campus

To provide a nurturing environment and enrich learning atmosphere for students to experience the contribution of science and technology to sustainable development, new facilities and teaching aids have been added in the recent years. They include the Science and Sustainable Development Resource Centre, a solar electric generating system, a wind turbine, a weather automatic monitoring system and a solar chill evaporative cooler.
