Bring Butterflies Back – Signature Campaign to Raise Awareness about Butterfly Conservation

Green Gurus launched the “Bring Butterflies Back” Signature Campaign on 13 Nov 2020 (Fri) on campus. With a rich flora and fauna, the current butterfly checklist in Hong Kong contains 245 species including one endemic subspecies, representing about 11% of species recorded throughout China. Besides being aesthetically pleasing, butterflies also play important roles in ecology, science and economy. Amazon on fire – Signature Campaign to conserve Amazon forests

Green Gurus of our school launched the “Amazon on fire” Signature Campaign on 27 Sept 2019 (Fri) on campus. Some scholars have pointed out that the Amazon rain forest, known as the “Lungs of the Earth”, handles 5% to 20% of the world’s photosynthesis every year. It plays an important role in restraining climate change as it can absorb and store large amounts of carbon.
