Flowers are growing in short axillary branches. Flowering between May and July.

種子核果狀，橢圓形、倒卵形或圓球形，成熟時橙黃。

Seeds are drupe-like, oblong, obovate or round ball in shape. Matures when orange in colour.

木材優良，供雕刻及其他工藝品之用。種子煮熟可以吃，但是吃多容易中毒。

Excellent wood for carving and other crafts purposes. Seeds can be eaten after cooked, but will be poisoned if over-taking.

性平，味甘、苦、澀、有小毒。具有潤肺定喘, 澀精止帶之功效。

Fruits: sweet, bitter and mouth-puckering taste with little poison, moderate. Embellishing the lungs and stopping secretion.

治哮喘，痰嗽，白帶，遺精，淋病，小便頻數。

Treats asthma, leucorrhea, emission, gonorrhea, frequent urination.
