習性：

暖溫帶植物，具有較強的抗寒能力，不耐暑熱。

十大功勞喜溫暖濕潤的氣候，也比較抗乾旱。它們在原產地多生長在陰濕峽谷和森林下面。

葉：

葉倒卵形至倒卵狀披針形，小葉無柄或近無柄，狹披針形至狹橢圓形

Leaf:

Leaves obovate to obovate-lanceolate, leaflets sessile or subsessile, narrowly lanceolate to narrowly elliptic

花：

花黃色；外萼片卵形或三角狀卵形。花期7-9月。

Flower:

Flowers yellow; outer sepals ovate or triangular-ovate. Flowering from July to September.

果：

漿果球形，直徑4-6毫米，紫黑色，被白粉。果期9-11月。

Fruit:

Berry spherical, diameter 4-6 mm, purple black, with white powder on fruit surface. Fruit period from September to November.

味苦，性寒。

主治

用於肺癆咳血，骨蒸潮熱，頭暈耳鳴，腰膝酸軟，濕熱黃疸，帶下，痢疾，風熱感冒，目赤腫痛，癰腫瘡瘍。

Treats

For tuberculosis cough, hot flashes, dizziness, tinnitus, Yaoxisuanruan, jaundice dampness, dysentery, wind and heat cold, red eyes and throat, carbuncles sores.

葉無毒。味很苦，劑量超過l0g就可能有噁心、食欲減退等副作用。長期服用無明顯副作用。
