| 描述 It is an invertibrate animal. Orthceras is a genus of extinct animal and they are ancestors to the modern day squid. Originally Orthoceras referred to all nautiloidswith a straight-shell, called an “orthocone”. But later research on their internal structures, such as the siphuncle, cameral deposits, and others, showed that these actually belong to a number of groups, even different orders. | Description 角石是一種無脊椎動物，他具有堅硬的外殼，形狀像羊和牛的角，也可以是彎的還是盤卷的。角石死亡之後，肉體很難保存,所以能形成化石的貝殼。直角石的殼形為細長的柱狀椎體，稱為「直角石式殼」（orthoceracone），由間距緊密的凹凸腔室組成。中央是住室，其次是連接各腔的連室細管。殼表面有很多幼細的細褶襞。 |
