Professor Marsall W Meyer from the University of Pennsylvania paid a visit to our School on 25th September 2017. He gave a talk titled “Learning from China: learning a global mindset” to our S3 and S5 students. Prof. Meyer shared his experience in China since 1992. The speedy development of China impresses him a lot. Wangfujing Pedestrain Street was occupied by thousands of bicycles in 1992 and vehicles in 1993, and the number of bicycles has increased again in 2017. He encouraged our students to travel more and be willing to take risks. Apart from food and sceneries, students can focus more on the culture of the region and, most importantly, try to develop friendship with the local people.
