On Learning Activities Days, some S5 students were arranged to visit the ethnic minorities in Yuen Long and Cheung Sha Wan. Our students understood more about their cultures and the environments around their homes.

There are over 50 000 Hong Kong Nepalese citizens. One of the ways to understand their cultures is to taste their food. A group of students went to Jordon to try the Nepali food on 31st January 2019. They found that some food were new to them.
Global Awareness to arouse students’ awareness on cultures were held on 20th and 21st November. Games, exchanging with foreign people, dance performance, exhibition were organized during the two days. 5A Lau Tak Hei, Ng Tsz Nok and Wong Oi Shuen participated in the activity, and they were awarded Second Class Honour.
5 students (Lau Tammi Hiu Tung, Kwong Tsz Nga, Yim Wai Ying, Ng Chung Ying and Chu Hoi Wing) participated in promotion on caring the ethnic minorities ( 『尊重‧關愛‧共融』維港一家親」) during November 2018 to January 2019. In the programme, they were assigned to study the culture of South Koreans. They also set up game booths to promote the culture of South Koreans to the public.
On 7th November 2018, a group of Singaporean students from North Vista Secondary School visited our school and had lessons with our students. The students shared the happiness together.
12 students participated in Hong Kong Secondary School Model United Nations Conference 2018 from 13th to 15th July 2018. During the conference, the students acted as the country representatives in Human Right Council (UNHRC), Security Council (UNSC), General Assembly (UNGA) to discuss on global issues. One of our students, Wong Nicole, was awarded “The Best Speaker Award” in the activity.
On 11th July 2018, our students had a joint performance with New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir. The performance started with the shows of Chinese musical instruments by our students, our School Orchestra and School Choir performance, followed by the performance by New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir. The show ended with a joint performance by the two choirs. The students from the two schools chatted cheerfully and had dinner together after the show.

The Annual Concert this year was held on 7th July 2018. The Consul-General of Colombia in Hong Kong, Mr. Yobani Veleasquez Quintero, led a team to join start off the show. They did not only introduce the Colombian music to our students and parents, but also demonstrated Colombian songs and dance to us. They enriched the atmosphere of our Annual Concert.
