World Robot Olympiad has developed to a truly global competition. WRO tournaments are organized in more than 65 countries. The WRO international final in November is hosted by a different country each year. Co-organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Science Park and Hong Kong Technology Education Association, the Green Innovation Challenge 2019 provides students with an opportunity to create innovative solutions to “Green Classrooms”. CFSS Grabbing Outstanding Smart City Project Award (Senior Section) and Commendable Smart City Project Award (Junior Section) in the Education Bureau Smart City Project Programme 2018/19

Two teams in our school took part in the Education Bureau Smart City Project Programme 2018/19, a competition which gives students an opportunity to create innovative products for the development of Smart City in Hong Kong. Four junior students took part in “Code2App Challenge” Review Day and Ceremony organized by HKEdCity on 18/05/2019 (Saturday). The students have made a great effort in making a smartphone application for promoting the sense of waste reduction, which their product “Waste Calculator” got merit and stood out from more than 70 participating teams. Our school took part in the Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition (HKSTIC) 2018-2019 and obtained Third Prize in the “Computer Science and Information Technology (Invention)” category. On 4/5/2019 (Saturday), four junior students took part in “Cisco Innovation Challenge 2019” co-organized by The City University of Hong Kong, MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node and The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education.
