Extensive Project on Wi-Fi Coverage

We have been working to extend the Wi-Fi coverage on campus since 2012. To lubricate the Mobile Learning and e-learning projects, we selected various venues to install enterprise standard Wi-Fi Access Points (APs) in order to allow forty simultaneous connections to receive high quality video streaming which is necessary for Mobile Learning. The latest model of Wi-Fi Access Points which supports 801.11ac specification has been installed in 10 classrooms for pilot e-book project since 2012.

Mobile Learning in CFSS

Phase 4 (2012-present) We are implementing Bring Your Own Device ( BYOD) project on campus. Students will be divided into several small groups and learn with their own mobile devices under supervision.   This promotes effectively the culture of self-directed learning. Besides, a list of reforms on Mobile Learning is underway.  We keep introducing new teaching and learning packages to teachers in order to delivery different kind of learning experience.
