Global Awareness Day X English Festival (January 2024)

Chinese Calligraphy Workshop Secondary One students joined the last Chinese Calligraphy Workshop of the year and polished their skills in writing Chinese calligraphy. Students learnt to appreciate Chinese poems and proverbs, and the deeper meaning behind them. Culture/Global Awareness Programme Day 1 (Oct 2023) Chinese Calligraphy WorkshopSecondary One students participated in the Chinese Calligraphy Workshop and learnt to use Chinese Calligraphy brush to write Chinese words. Shanghai Education Tour

During 17th April 2017 and 21st April 2017, 30 students and 5 teachers went to Shanghai to study the culture and education. In the trip, they visited Shanghai Nanyang High School (http://www.cfss.edu.hk/event20170417.html) to study how Shanghai Nanyang High School is promoting language, culture and sports. They visited Shanghai Museum, former residence of Ba Jin,  Tianzi Fang to study how historical and cultural conservation has been done in Shanghai. Japan Education Tour 2015

In order to broaden students’ global horizon, our School Supervisor Dr. Annie Wu sponsored 12 students, 2 alumni and 4 teachers to participate in an education tour to Fukuoka in late July.  They aimed to study the sustainable development and culture of Japan.  In the tour, students learnt waste treatment, efficient production of energy and the preservation of culture in Fukuoka. Finland Education Tour 2015

  To enhance students’ horizon in global outlook and to train them as responsible global citizens, in response to the Millennium Declaration, School Supervisor Dr. Annie S.C. Wu sponsored a tour to Finland. School Management Committee Chairperson Professor Young, Founding Principal Mr. Chow, Principal Mr. Au, together with 6 teachers and 10 students, boarded the plane at midnight and set off to Finland.  The 9-day tour focused on Finland’s sustainable development and education.
