In March 2024, we visited our sister school, Zhejiang Jiaxing No. 1 Middle School, and were delighted to welcome their students and teachers to our school on 18th July 2024. In July 2024, our Astronomy Club organized an overseas stargazing activity for students at the light-pollution-free Qingjing Farm, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of the night sky and enhance their knowledge of astronomy through workshops and tours. During the trip, students visited Qingjing Stargazing Park for stargazing activities and explored various astronomical facilities and workshops. To enhance students’ understanding of the cultural and economic development of East China, our school organized an educational tour to the region in March 2024. During the tour, students visited various cultural sites, including the Red Boat of Nanhu Lake, Wuzhen, Jiaxing Museum, and Jiaxing Zongzi Cultural Museum. To deepen students’ understanding of global warming, we were honoured to have Mr. Cheung Wai Yin, a polar exploration expert, lead an expedition to the glaciers of Switzerland in July 2024. The journey began at the Institute of Earth Surface Dynamics at the University of Lausanne, where students engaged in glacier research. Iceland Education Tour

In March 2023, our school welcomed a visit from an Icelandic student. In October 2023, our three students and two teachers visited Iceland in return. During the tour, students had the chance to explore Iceland’s history and culture, learn about the use of geothermal energy, and observe the country’s economic and technological advancements. They also engaged with local Icelandic students. Through such overseas educational programs, we aim to nurture young individuals with a global and multicultural perspective.
