We upgraded to blade server farm along with enterprise graded Storage Area Network (SAN) to support our education needs in using information technology to assist teaching and learning.

This upgrade offers us a new era in green computing by virtualization technology. The unified server farm uses an intelligent controller to monitor and regulate the power consumption and heat. Virtualization technology is also employed to use less server hardware to operate network operating systems for providing various networked services.

The system also enables us to go further to support our teaching and learning by constructing a “CFSS Private Cloud” system. This is an online platform which can offer, but not limited to, tailor-made training kits for our students to learning everywhere.
