本校學生在MOS Worldwide Championship 2017於Microsoft Word 2016項目中贏得全球冠軍，為港爭光！
| This year, the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship 2017 was held at Disneyland, Anaheim, Los Angeles, U.S.A. The regional competitions had been completed months ago worldwide. All participants must be tested by the official examination to get nominated to represent their countries for the final competition in the U.S.A. The examination count is over 2 million this year. 56 countries succeeded to be nominated to the final competition in the U.S.A in August 2017.
The HKSAR has nominated 9 secondary school students to participate in this final competition. CFSS, after bagging two World Champion titles last year, has sent two elite students to represent HKSAR for this competition. On 3 Aug, 2017, our S.5 student, Cheng Wai Fung, won all challenges and grabbed the title of World Champion in Microsoft Word 2016. Also, Ming Lai Tin got the 4th place in Microsoft Excel 2013. In fact, our school has got the World Champion three years in a row in the Microsoft Word Category: 2017: Cheng Wai Fung –World Champion in Microsoft Word 2016 2016: Ming Lai Tin – World Champion in Microsoft Word 2013 2016: Lee Pak Hei – World Champion in Microsoft Excel 2013 2015 Lee Pak Hei – World Champion in Microsoft Word 2013 All in all, our students have been nominated to represent HKSAR in such a competition for eight years. We obtained World Champions in three years, and 2nd Place Award in four years 每年一度於美國進行決賽的Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship 2017，今年於美國加洲迪士尼樂園舉行。整個比賽已於早前在全球舉行初賽，以真正業界的考試來挑選精英學生，總考試數量超過2,000,000份。其中56個國家派出學生代表親赴美國出席有關決賽。 今年香港特別行政區經初賽選拔後共派出9名中學生代表遠赴美國加洲參加決賽。中華基金中學繼上年度奪得2個全球總冠軍後，再次挑選精英學生代表香港出賽。於美國時間3/8/2017舉行的頒獎典禮中，中華基金中學學生鄭瑋豐 (Cheng Wai Fung) 成功贏得今年度Microsoft Word 2016項目中的全球總冠軍；而明麗天 (Ming Lai Tin)則於Microsoft Excel 2013項目中得到第四名的佳績。這是本校於同一比賽中連續三年在Microsoft Word 組別中奪得全球總冠軍殊榮。 2017 鄭瑋豐 (Cheng Wai Fung) – Microsoft Word 2016全球總冠軍 2016 明麗天 (Ming Lai Tin) – Microsoft Word 2013全球總冠軍 李柏希 (Lee Pak Hei) – Microsoft Excel 2013全球總冠軍 2015 李柏希 (Lee Pak Hei) – Microsoft Word 2013全球總冠軍 中華基金中學的學生已有八屆被挑選代表香港參加決賽，其中三次獲得全球總冠軍及四次獲得全球亞軍。
