Webinar on Smart Campus Project

A webinar on Smart Campus Project was conducted on 26 Nov 2021 (Fri). School Principal Ho Tik Shun and STREAM Coordinator Tsang Ka Ho started the first session of sharing on Smart Campus Development in CFSS. The webinar was then substantiated by Professor Z.Y. Dong, Director of UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute, with his professional analysis of the survey on Smart Campus Development in Hong Kong schools.

CFSS would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the 35 participating primary and secondary schools for their full support to the Smart Campus Project, which had marked the concerted endeavour of The University of New South Wales (UNSW) and The Chinese Foundation Secondary School (CFSS) to investigate smart solutions that increase the inter-connectivity between Internet of Things (IoT) products, teachers and students. The Smart Campus project not only had provided insights for smart campus development in participating schools, but also had established a benchmark reference of the smart city concept for various international educational providers, government departments and technology companies to deliver smart solutions fitted for their uses. When the “Smart Campus Concepts” had been adopted, school administration would be streamlined, including but not limited to improving resources utilization, modernizing campus environment and fostering a brand-new learning experience for students.
