The aim of this programme is to help students understand the significant changes and development that occurred in Hong Kong, and to examine how the natural environment of the region is being affected and how the issue can be managed and resolved. Students can know more about town planning in Hong Kong and how they can participate in the planning process. Besides, the programme also provides an opportunity for students to apply geographical concepts (e.g. region, change, people-environment interaction) and knowledge (e.g. factors affecting town planning, urban expansion).
