Interdisciplinary Field Trip to Zero Carbon Building (ZCB)

An interdisciplinary field trip to Zero Carbon Building (ZCB) was organized on 16 February 2019 in collaboration with Biology, Visual Art, Geology and Information & Communication Technology Department. Field Trip to NE Hong Kong Geopark

A boat trip to the NE geosites of Hong Kong Geopark was organised on 6th May 2017. Students were able to enjoy the remarkable coastal landforms at Tolo Channel. They also learnt about the cultural environmental through orienteering activities. Students were able to learn more about Hong Kong Geopark, especially the Ap Chau and Kat O areas.

Exchange Programme with Japanese High-school Students

A group of Japanese high-school students visited Hong Kong in August, 2016. Students from our school were invited to act as the host and shared their knowledge about Hong Kong geology with those Japanese students. Apart from the visit to Sai Kung geosite, students from Hong Kong and Japan also shared about the teen culture in Hong Kong. Field Trip to Hong Kong Geopark – High Island Reservoir (East Dam)

A trip to the Sai Kung geosite of the Hong Kong Geopark was organized on 24th October 2015. Through this activity, students learnt more about the geology of Hong Kong. The activity entailed close observation of the most typical hexagonal columnar joints from different angles.
