| 描述 臭蔥石的英文名Scorodite係源自希臘語garlic-like，意指此種礦物加熱時會產生砷臭味。晶體多呈雙錐狀或板狀，偶見柱狀晶體，顏色以淺綠、藍綠或褐色居多，少數呈白色、黃色和深紫色，白色條痕。臭蔥石屬於含鐵的砷酸鹽礦物，其中鐵可能被少量的鋁所取代，若三氧化二鋁含量超過7.1％時，又稱之為鋁臭蔥石 | Description The name Scorodite is came from Greek ‘garlic-like’,means that arsenic smell will be given out when heating the mineral. The crystals of scorodite are mostly in double cone or plate shape, sometimes columnar shape.The color is mostly light green, blue-green or brown, and a few are white, yellow and dark purple, with white streaks. The scorodite is an iron-containing arsenate mineral, in which iron may be replaced by a small amount of aluminum. If the aluminum oxide content exceeds 7.1%, it is also called aluminum scorodite |
