多年生高大草本

 

Growth habit:

Live in wetlands and swamps

 

葉:

叶2列式排列,具叶鞘;叶鞘抱茎无毛或具细毛;叶灰绿色或蓝绿色,较宽,线状披针形

 

Leaf:

 Leaves 2-arranged, with leaf sheaths ; leaf sheaths glabrous or with fine hairs; leaves gray-green or turquoise, broad, linear-lanceolate, 30-60 cm long, 2–5 cm wide, coarse

 

花:

圆锥花序大形,顶生,直立,有时稍弯曲

暗紫色或褐紫色,稀淡黄色, 花期9~10月

 

Flower:

Panicles large, terminal, erect, sometimes slightly curved

Flowering from September to October.

 

果:

颖果,椭圆形至长圆形,与内外稃分离

 

Fruit:

Caryopsis , oval to oblong, separated from inside and outside

外皮疏松,可以剥离。气无,味甘。

As a result, his disease was cured, and Lu Gen was known to many as a cheap medicine.
