A piece of good news from a science competition signifies a breakthrough in our scientific research. Our students Wu Hoi Man (S.6C) and Wong Chor Ki (S.6C) were chosen as representatives for Hong Kong SAR to participate in the 34th China Adolescent Science & Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC). Under supervision of Acting School Principal Ho Tik Shun Science teachers Mr. Chung Cheuk Hung Vincent and Ms. Leung Yue Shan Jennifer, Green Gurus Team attained the First Place Grand Award in the category of Outstanding Organized STEM Activity. The award presentation ceremony was launched in the lecture hall of the Hong Kong Science Museum on 7 Sep 2019 (Sat). Here we congratulate the students and teachers who have devoted much time and energy to promoting Citizen Science, and wish them persistence in further scientific pursuits.
