It is honour to announce that CFSS is firstly awarded as Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence 2019 Gold Award – School (Secondary). Our school has been the winner of Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence Silver Award – School (Secondary) in 2014 and 2017. It recognized the outstanding performance in sustainable development of CFSS.
The Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (the HKAEE) and Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification (HKGOC) are led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environmental Protection Department and in conjunction with nine organisations, namely, in alphabetical order, the Advisory Council on the Environment, the Business Environment Council, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and the Hong Kong Productivity Council. The HKAEE is an annual award which aims to encourage organisations to implement environmental management, to measure organisations’ performance on their commitment to environmental management, and to recognise organisations with excellence performance on environmental management. Under the impact of COVID-19, the Awards Presentation Ceremony has presented as a virtual online ceremony.
