Bird-Watching Activity in Nam Sang Wai

Hong Kong Biodiversity Care Ambassador and Leadership Training Programme 2016 is launched with collaboration of Grateful Green Group, Lee Woo Shing College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department to cultivate green elites in schools. The Nam Sang Wai Bird-Watching Activity is one of the activities in this pioneer programme, with pre-trip bird-watching seminar in school. We are honored to have invited bird-watching specialist Mr. Kenny Yip Kam Yiu to give us an interactive pre-trip seminar on interesting facts about bird and basic identification skills on birds on 4 Nov 2016 (Fri). Led by Mr. Yip, Mr. George Jor and Ms. Boman Ho (Founders of Grateful Green Group), 30 teachers and students bounded for Nam Sang Wai for bird-watching on 12 Nov 2016 (Sat). Students enjoyed the trip very much and were benefited by being able to identify 30 species of birds and 5 species of mangroves there.
